In conjunction with this, we have now added a 'Charts' tab to every player's Scouting Report:
The above chart was created by simulating from the 2012 season through 2025. It shows BABIP (Batting Average On Balls In Play) for all lefties that Strasborg faced.
You can also limit the search to certain pitch types (fastballs, sliders, etc.) and situations (2 outs, RISP, "close and late"). For example, here's Jason Heyward's Slugging Percentage on just fastballs:
Finally, you can limit the search to at-bats against one team or one specific player, such as Dustin Pedroia versus the Yankees from 2012 through 2020:

I haven't bought Baseball Mogul since the 2010 edition, but I still play that copy pretty regularly. I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. Can I import my franchises from that version directly to this upcoming version?
Yes. Absolutely! We always support compatibility with older versions. We know how attached you can get to a team and a baseball universe.
Thanks, Clay!
Will watching a game in PBP mode (GM mode I think) vs simming the entire season be simmed the same way?
I bought Baseball Mogul 2008 in April of 2007 and I play one pitch mode and have played every game of the 162 game season and I am now midway through the 2048 season. It is an awesome game and each year I thought of upgrading but I play it so regularly that I hate to lose all the progress I have for players I have groomed and played with throughout the last 40 seasons which like I said I have played every game of the season with. I am probable going to buy Baseball Mogul 2013 but will a version that old (2008) be compatible with the 2013 version? Thanks for your time Clay, I have spoken to you a few times throughout the years by e-mail
Is this feature available in the beta?
"I bought Baseball Mogul 2008 in April of 2007..."
Baseball Mogul 2013 will absolutely load games saved in Baseball Mogul 2008 (or 2010). I just tested it on my computer to be sure.
is the 2013 Baseball mogul demo going to be out on 4/3/2012
Loved this game for many many years. I'm happy to see this game grow to a bigger and better baseball sim.
